Coffee cake recipe
All the time I am making cakes for the tea time at my home. Having tea time at home in the evening is a must in my home and it’s the time when all the family members sit together in the lounge, enjoy chit-chat and watching some nice TV show. As it is always a nice time to meet in our day so I want to make it even special by coming up a new recipe each time I am making a cake. In this post, I will show you how to make Coffee cake recipe. You may have come across my few other cakes like; Easy Pineapple cake, Orange cake, Lemon cake, No-bake biscuit cake or simple tea cake If you want to have some quick cake for teatime then try our microwave colorful cake or cookies microwave mug cake or microwave simple cake. One of my friends has shared coffee caramel cake, Easy marble cake, Chocolate cake, as well. In healthy cakes range, we have for you oatmeal muffins, Flourless dates cake or an eggless cake.
Ingredients Coffee cake recipe
- 3 medium-sized eggs,
- ½ cup all-purpose flour,
- ½ cup castor sugar,
- 1 tsp vanilla essence,
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- 5g coffee mixed with 2 tbsp water.
Directions Coffee cake recipe
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- Grease a baking pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- In a large bowl beat eggs with sugar until creamy.
- Add vanilla and coffee and beat again.
- Fold sifted all-purpose flour with baking powder and baking soda in the creamy mixture.
- Pour the mixture into baking pan; tap it against the kitchen cabinets to remove all air bubbles.
- Bake sponge for 25-30 min on 180 in a preheated oven.
Decoration Coffee cake recipe
When the cake is ready, let it cook for a while then moist Coffee cake with some milk (optional) apply the coffee cream (add liquid coffee in whipped cream) then a 2nd layer of the Coffee cake and again apply the cream, cover cake with cream and decorate as you like. You can prepare homemade sugar sprinkles of any color or shape and decorate the Coffee cake recipe with it.
