Spinach and Apple Smoothie
The spinach and apple smoothie is green in color and most of the green smoothies are not so sweet as the main ingredient is the green vegetables. This smoothie will not be so thick. There are many benefits of green smoothies that I will share soon. This green spinach and apple smoothie is quick to make and tastes amazing.
Green smoothie with Spinach and apple
It will hardly take your 6 minutes to prepare it.
You can always add cucumber to this smoothie to enrich the freshness.
Ingredients Spinach and Apple Smoothie :
- 1 cup chopped spinach
- 1 cup of diced apple
- 3- 4-inch piece cucumber
- 1 cup water, you can use milk as well if you like.
- 1-2 of chia seeds (optional)
- 2 teaspoons honey (optional)
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ cup ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
- Clean, wash and rinse the spinach.
- Wash, peel and cut an apple into small chunks.
- Peel the cucumber and cut it into small cubes.
- Now pour water into a blender, add honey and lemon juice, and give it a nice stir.
- Now add all the remaining ingredients; chia seeds, apple, spinach, and cucumber.
- Blend for 2-3 minutes to have a smooth watery juicy smoothie.
- Pour the smoothie into two to three glasses and enjoy.
Note:
- This spinach and apple smoothie will not be so thick.
- If you like you can skip the water and add ice cubes or add cubes as well. The choice is yours, there is no set formula, you have to experiment and figure out the best taste that you will feel is delicious.
- Water can also be replaced with a cup of milk.
- Depends on your taste; you can also go with a half cup of water with half cup of milk both collectively will make one cup of liquid.
