Four Ingredient Quick Quinoa Salad Recipe
We cannot deny the benefits of this little grain. Quinoa is rich in Protein. It has more fiber than any other grain. You can get Iron, magnesium from Quinoa. It is a great addition to your healthy weight loss diet plan.
After reading so many benefits of Quinoa, I thought to try my hand at it. I am using it most of the time in my salads.
I will be sharing few Quick Quinoa Salad Recipes with you in my coming posts as well.
Let us start with a simple Quinoa salad that has only four ingredients.
How to boil quinoa?
Wash quinoa under running water for a couple of minutes. Add ½ cup of it to two cups of water and let it boil on high flame for about 3 minutes then make the flame low and let quinoa cook properly. It will soak all water. If water is left then drain it.
Small white circles will appear at the edges of grain and it’s an indication that quinoa is ready.

Ingredients for the Quick Quinoa Salad Recipe:
- 1 cup boiled Quinoa
- ½ cup of diced mango
- ½ cup carrot ( diced or shredded)
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice.
Recipe for the Quick Quinoa Salad:
- Take 1 cup of boiled quinoa in a large bowl.
- Add diced mango and carrot.
- Add fresh lemon juice and mix all ingredients well with a spoon or spatula.
Your yummy quinoa salad is ready.
You can consume this quinoa salad after preparing it or leave for an hour or so when the juice of mango will mix in it, will enhance the taste of the salad.
Note:
If you feel carrot is hard then better shred.
You can also season the salad with a pinch of salt and black pepper but believe me without spices, it still tastes great.
I have added Ginger as well in this quinoa salad but if you do not like the taste, no worries.
