Beef with Vegetables recipe
Most of the time we are cooking chicken recipes as they are quick to make and hardly go to beef as it takes time. But today, I thought to give some time in my kitchen and cook beef with vegetables recipe. The beef with the vegetable recipe is very simple and turned out nice in taste, so thought to share with all of you. Have a look at beef with vegetables recipe and enjoy hot with rice, simple naan or tandoori bread. This amazing recipe is shared by my Jordanian friend Rose Almomini she is an amazing computer science teacher and a wonderful woman and mother to two kids, who love to eat and she cooks a lot to feed the kids with healthy recipes. Ingredients beef with the vegetable recipe:
- 1 medium size zucchini
- 5 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 medium size carrot
- 1 medium size Calabash
- 1-cup beans chopped
- ½ kg beef chopped into cubes
- ½-cup tomato puree
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 tablespoon Oil ( 2 for beef and 2 to fry vegetables)
Directions Beef with the vegetable recipe:
- In a large pot heat up oil and sauté garlic for a couple of minutes, until the garlic will change aroma and you can feel nice aroma.
- Add beef cubes and cook until the color of the beef will change.
- It should not be reddish from outside but light brown type.
- Sprinkle your spices, salt, pepper and any other seasoning that you like.
- Add 1 kg water and on low heat let the beef cook, it may take 30- 50 minutes, depending on the heat of your stove, you can also add beef in the pressure cooker if you like.
- Once the beef is done, if there is more water left, boil on high flame to reduce water quantity as per your requirement.
- Chop all the vegetables as you like.
- In a separate pan, add a couple of spoon of oil, toss and cook all vegetables by stirring until tender.
- Now add these vegetables to the cooked beef and cook for a couple of minutes by stirring to incorporate everything together.
- You are done, your tasty beef with vegetable recipe is ready, dish it out, serve hot with naan or bread or boiled rice.
