Carrot avocado smoothie
Carrot Avocado smoothie is my all time favorite smoothie. After drinking Carrot Avocado smoothie I feel so fresh and energetic. It’s a pack of energy for me. I always try to make smoothies with seasonal fruits, this is a secret to get an amazing taste with a lot of energy.
If you prefer using water like a cup of water than the ice cups, it will be a juicy treat for you. If you want to surprise your friends, make this yummy smoothie for them.
I always prefer not to add many fruits in one drink as it always increases sugar factor, natural fructose. Though when we are drinking soft drinks we never pay attention to this fact but… Sigh!
I will suggest you add fruits and vegetables together; it will balance the sugar in your smoothie.
You can choose any color carrot for the smoothie. If you do not like carrot you can go with any other option like; pear, orange. It all depends on you. I have tried avocado with almost every fruit and always fall in love with every combo.
If you want to give you some protein boost, you can add a teaspoon of vegan hemp protein powder.
Carrot, avocado smoothie:
Ingredients:
- ½ carrot
- 1 avocado
- Small piece of ginger
- 1 scoop hemp protein powder (it’s optional, depends on your choice)
- 200 ml water or a cup of ice cubes
Preparation:
For avocado carrot smoothie you have to cut carrot and avocado into small pieces and put all of the above-mentioned ingredients in your blender and blend until you get the desired consistency. Some people prefer chewing some small pieces and most go for a creamy paste. I always blend until the mixture is smooth.
You can always add more ice cubes or water in the smoothie to make it as you like.
