You can also call this Buttermilk pancake recipe as Buttermilk chocolate pancake or cocoa pancake recipe. Our Saturday is a pancake day so all the time I am trying to add new ingredients to change the taste.  Recently, I cooked this Delicious Pancake Recipe.   You can also check simple pancake recipe with orange juice or coffee pancakes recipe.

Ingredients Buttermilk pancake recipe

• 1 and ½ cups flour
• 2-tablespoon cocoa powder
• 1-tablespoon cocoa sugar (optional but recommended)
• 1 tablespoon of brown sugar (optional but recommended)
• ½-teaspoon semolina flour
• Pinch of vanilla essence (if using powder otherwise few drops)
• ½ cup sweet corn paste (you can use yellow cornmeal as well)
• 2-teaspoon baking powder
• 1-teaspoon baking soda
• Pinch of salt
• Sugar to taste
• 2 large eggs
• 3 cups buttermilk
• 4 tablespoon melted butter (you can use oil as well)
• Few Chocolate chips (to garnish, if you like while cooking you can add in pancake)
• 1-tablespoon Cream cheese
• 2-tablespoon fresh cream

Directions Buttermilk pancake recipe

1. Take a large bowl and sift all the dry ingredients together
2. Mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl.
3. Slowly pour the milk batter into the flour and continuously mix the batter.
4. Do not pour all the milk at once, by gradually holding the milk bowl left add continuously accompanied by continuous stirring.
5. You can mix the batter in a blender as well as it will be quicker.
6. Once the batter is ready, heat up any frying pan on medium heat and brush with oil or butter.
7. Add ½ cup of batter at a time or you can change quantity keeping the size of your pan and desired size of buttermilk chocolate pancake.
8. When you will see the bubbles on the top, flip the pancake and let it cook on the other side.
9. Buttermilk pancake will take almost 5-8minutes for you to cook the butter pancake.
10. When your buttermilk pancake is ready, add some cream cheese or whipping cream on top and enjoy with the hot cup of coffee or tea. I added some chocolate chips and banana as my daughter loves it.
